(MHNSports Reporter Sun Shin) YG girl group BabyMonster successfully concluded the final overseas performance of their first fan meeting tour.
BabyMonster held 'BABYMONSTER PRESENTS: SEE YOU THERE FINAL' at Kobe World Hall in Japan on July 30-31 as part of their fan meeting tour. Originally scheduled for only two shows, the concert added an additional performance due to overwhelming demand and ticket sell-outs. Achieving a full house on a weekday demonstrated once again BabyMonster's immense popularity, unusual for a rookie group.
In this performance, BabyMonster showcased their stable live singing skills and dazzling performances with debut song 'SHEESH', 'LIKE THAT', 'BATTER UP', and 'FOREVER', which was presented for the first time at the fan meeting.
The concert also featured various segments that highlighted the members' cheerful energy and charm. They entertained fans with games such as song guessing and dance challenges. The encore stage, featuring remix versions, had members swapping parts and freely performing on stage, displaying their relaxed and playful side.
BabyMonster expressed their gratitude to fans, saying, "Our fans finally have a name, Monsties. We were so happy to hear Monsties cheering and enjoying with us. We promise to show you even better performances in the future, so please look forward to it, and let's meet again soon."
With this, BabyMonster successfully completed ten performances in six cities: Tokyo, Jakarta, Singapore, Taipei, Bangkok, and Kobe. They will conclude the tour with the finale at Kyung Hee University's Peace Hall in Seoul on August 10-11.
Meanwhile, BabyMonster recently proved their 'global popularity' once again by appearing on billboards in Tokyo, Japan. The teaser video for their new song 'FOREVER' was displayed all over Shinjuku and Shibuya in Tokyo, raising expectations for their future activities abroad.
